Somehow I wound up with Friday and Saturday night off work so we got to enjoy a little date night.
That was Saturday and the wind was just beginning to get up – it was also the only 2 hour gap in 2 days where it didn’t rain. Enter Irene. According to the weather man (well, really the weather man via my Dad – the ultimate news and weather source), we are catching the tail end of hurricane Irene. Peachy. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad we didn’t get hit full force but what happened to the September sun we usually get – it’s our last hope for a week of Scottish summer!
I have also been having to resist the urge to call my mother-in-law, Irene, and play this to her but after last night’s weird, ahem, answer phone message that might just be more strange than is acceptable. I phoned the wrong parents; the message meant for my mum stating only, ‘I still have a job. Have a good week’ reached the husband’s mum instead. Awkward.
P.S. My watch may be plastic and cheap and really meant for running but it matched and I couldn’t say no to that.
P.P.S. How much does Mr. K look like the Joker in the last shot?

I love your look, and your model companion is the loveliest accessory! I just spent 15 minutes googling lapphunds after setting eyes on him! Although I’m not sure that would be the best pet for life in Australia…

Thanks Catherine! You’d maybe be surprised how many people in Australia have lapphunds, I guess they just adapt. We may even be going on an adventure to Melbourne one day and Mr K will def be coming along.x
