Ok, so I have to confess that when I saw this skirt in Zara last year I fell in love. I felt like Winona in a jewellery store; I wanted to grab armfuls of them and run right out the door. I loved the style, I loved the silk and most of all I loved the print – dogs and dogs and more dogs with some leads thrown in for good measure. It felt like I’d gotten a hold of Gucci and had them produce a print just for me. (Shame it’s not lapphunds but then you can’t have everything and when I broached the subject of designing my own print of lapphunds the husband assured me this would be a step too far – I’m still not so sure).
The bag is only briefly holidaying with me before I sell it for a friend who is saving for a big move down under but I figured, while it’s here, might as well… It’d be a shame for a beautiful piece of arm candy like that to be left at home on date night after all!
