On Tuesday I gave up on trying to carry around the camera and a regular bag and favoured the ‘cram everything into the Lowepro’ look that is so envied by stylish women the world over.  I liked that the tiny orange logo coincidentally matched my new tights – the husband was less impressed.  I could’ve swapped it out for the shots but I wanted to keep it real for ya!

The irony here was that after taking a taxi (whoa, hold the bus – that taxi was more than 90p) over to GCU for Karinna Nobbs presentation ‘How to communicate luxury using social media in the fashion sector’ I experienced some directional confusion on campus and still wound up missing the first 10 minutes.  Maybe this post should be titled ‘Lost fresher styled’.  Even more ironic than that is that I neglected the camera entirely and didn’t take a single shot.

The talk was insightful but I have spent a good 15 minutes today trying to locate Burberry’s design your own bespoke trench online.  Anyone?
