Wax on?  Yes please!  I am so in love with the waxed denim trend right now so when I opened a lovely Zara box on Christmas morning from the husband I had more than a little smile on my face.  And studs too!  I could hardly believe he’d got it so right – he knows me and my style so well.  Then he confessed he would like to shake the hand of the person who came up with Pinterest because it took the thinking out of Christmas shopping!

We had a brilliant cocktail night with friends (we took Bloody Blacks which we made by layering Eristoff Black over lemonade over cranberry) but my favourite of the night was Jan’s White Russian, closely followed by Jules’ Café Patron w/ orange.  Only problem with orange wedges for sooking on?  It was a gamble whether you got a fresh wedge or a ‘vintage’ one.  We’re close friends though!
