Pastels are taking over my mind – peach and lemon and don’t even get me started on mint (I’ll cover that next week).  What do pastels work with?  LA.  What do pastels not work with?  Scotland, in fact, probably the UK in general.

An impromptu drinks date with the husband led me to pull these little pastel shorts out of the closet again and style them with my khaki shirt and tights for a slightly less ‘It’s sunny and it’s summer and I have long tan legs and I’m complementing it all with my LA smile and my pastels’ look and more of a ‘It’s Scotland and we might love pastels but it’s also still technically winter’ look.  My bare legs are probably bang on trend right now – minty blue.  Best hidden for now!

That being said, I’m off to the God Save My Shoes event tonight (the one I told you about yesterday) and I’ll be dressing head to toe in, ahem, unseasonable pastels.  I’m going to put it out there – ThankFifi is fickle (just like fashion).

Would those shorts work with a bright top for example that purple tee you had? Thanks.

Amazing take on the pastels trend! I love the out of the box combination with the khaki shirt and how well the two blend together! Your best LA smile gives that extra “oomph” to all your looks which I love!

ps Give your Karhu a big hug from me!
