I had a post all planned out in my head, well not just in my head… I had images saved and everything. I even had some suitably naff title in mind, you know, something like ‘Mintspiration’. BMW (Before Mint Wednesday, duh) the only minty thing I owned was toothpaste. Then MW hit and this little pastel beauty floated through my letterbox from Rada Priya in Australia. An obsession was born. Popped into River Island, just for a look as you do, but these minty jeans were half off and I could hear the voice in my head, ‘Think not of what you’re spending but what you’re saving’. Sold. Didn’t fare much better in Boots where a bottle of mint nail polish was kind of whispering to me that this look wouldn’t work without it… it’s on my toes by the way but yeah, you can’t even see them!
A couple of borrowed pieces from a generous friend and I was happy. I literally stole the scarf from round her neck at work on Friday morning and she dug the bag out from the back of her closet where she said, and I quote, ‘It was in a crumpled heap’ – I ask you, Mulberry, crumpled, heap?! I’m working on the adoption papers right now.
So here’s what I wore to the movie screening on Friday where I did in fact survive the panel – I’ll tell you all about it tomorrow.
I absolutely love how the simple your top is, yet it look so chic!! And yet again you doggy is there to make this post even better 🙂
