Get up off the floor

I’d been hankering after another pleated maxi for some time but I never really felt I could justify it – you know, how often would I really wear a maxi?  Then I scored this one for £6 in the last rail of the M&S sale and I’ve surprised myself by wearing it 3 times in the past fortnight.  Only issue is that it’s super long so I have to belt it up higher on my waist to wear it with my flat boots.  Won’t be a problem when I want to wear it with heels though – nothing worse than a maxi that doesn’t reach the floor.

Looking forward to some time with the husband this weekend at Malmaison – might even leave the laptop at home, I’m not promising anything, but it’s a definite possibility!  Dreaming and hoping for some sunshine too – my neon tee may be a blinding yellow beacon but it’s not making up for a fortnight of grey skies.
