Today I show you my look for The Scottish Variety Awards which we attended on Saturday evening.  I was the only lady at this black tie event in pants and I was ok with that.

The case of these pants is a little curious because I first fell in love with these ones, which I loved, but I just couldn’t find a whole lot (read ‘anything’) in my closet to pair them with.  Back onto the Zara site and my search for chiffon pants revealed this superior model – a more subdued print in a muted colour and with a wider leg.  Perfection in my eyes.  Wearing them is a joy and they needed nothing more than a simple black tank to complete my black tie look.

I’d be lying if I didn’t fess up to already having my eye on another pair of chiffon pants but seriously… how many chiffon pants can one really justify?
