As promised this is the second shoot for my Look magazine feature. Channelling some serious 70’s California with this one and I know I bang on and on about these J Brand lovestory jeans but I really do love them – I can’t imagine a body type they wouldn’t be awesome for.
The look was coming together nicely but I grabbed this scrap of material from work at the last minute and tied it round my head for some colour. Colour ok, not to hide my dirty hair, nope, for colour. Anyway, pretty much wore it all the rest of the week even after I got round to washing my mop! Think I’m gonna be into headscarves this summer – looking forward to playing around with some other shapes and prints.
Although as yet we have NOTHING booked, we are literally California dreaming and planning a week long holiday starting… tomorrow. Chamonix, Cyprus, Vegas… who knows. We’ve got a week off and we’re using it! I’ll be posting from wherever in the world we end up so stay tuned folks.

P.S. You guys know these shoes really are mine and not swapped with a friend like Look said (those guys were strict with that £175 budget!). The bag on the other hand… well, you probably know if it was mine you’d have seen it here already… But what are a couple of untruths between friends (and magazine pages)?!

This look reminds me of one of my favorite movies called “The Strawberry Statement”! Trully inspiring and evocative of the Hippy age! You have a great ability to be versatile in your style and the unique talent to look gorgeous in just about anything!
