The father-in-law likes to walk. Often he walks past ‘the duck pond’. One day we walked together. I saw ‘the duck pond’. The father-in-law’s ‘duck pond’ (sorry for the overuse of quote marks but they’re really necessary) is set at the side of the road – and I mean right at the side of the road. Some would call it the gutter. It’s about 2m x 1m. Some would call that a puddle. And the mother-in-law calls him a pessimist… I’ll give him one thing though – it has ducks!
So, for reference, this is what the rest of us would consider to be a duck pond and a nice one at that. It’s only 2 minutes from our apartment and Mr K greets the ducks with the same glee he greets the bunnies at the pet store (if only he could get at them).
For some reason I felt an entirely white look would be perfectly appropriate for a dog walk but I quite like it and really, is there anywhere an entirely white look is safe anyway?!

My Husky is the same with ducks (or anything small & furry!), he almost pulls my arm off when we walk past our pond, he’d love to get at them! Hah!
