As promised here is my first look with the new hi tops – what do you think?

It’s a curious thing really; I prefer to style them on the smarter side with a tulip skirt but kept the sporty edge with my jersey tee. It’s all about balance I guess – to avoid looking like I belong in the skate park with the group of 12 year old boys (and that one old dude with long grey pigtails) I think they work best with something a little bit tailored or structured and minimal jewellery. This skirt does it for me here but I think they’d also work with the right dress… so long as there’s nothing neon (I am almost afraid of the 80’s – no doubt my least favourite decade for fashion and ironically the one I was born in). I’ll experiment some more and get back to you!

Any ideas how I should style them next?
