Saturday night we headed out to our friends’ housewarming party. If there’s ever an excuse to wear heels it’s a house party; there’s a good chance you’re going to spend some time sitting down. It’s not that these heels are uncomfortable in any way but I do find, as I get older (euch), I have less and less tolerance for things like ‘burning balls’ (that’s how my friend Julie eloquently puts it!).
Also threw on this cardigan at the last moment before running out the door because you never know if house parties are going to be cold (again, the old thing). I must confess it’s been getting an embarrassing amount of wear lately.
