Mine was a mixed bag… spent most of Saturday scrubbing a bathroom ceiling with bleach. It was a dangerous game dodging the spray – lose and you’re blind. Not cool. The husband, meanwhile, painted round the woodwork with a brush meant for a child and never broke a sweat. Something wasn’t adding up… THEN, after, he smiles and says to me, ‘It feels pretty good having done some hard graft’. Seriously?! Whaaaaat?!
It’s true what James Brown says – This is a man’s world.
On the upside I actually did feel quite good having done some hard graft.
So what about today’s look? Probably the most versatile piece in my entire closet is this skirt – I’ve worn it so many ways it should probably have it’s own blog domain. Also continuing my denim addiction… And get ready for a cuteness overload because there’s a shot of the puppy who licked my teeth in there too!

well, the skirt is actually quite narrow so as a full length maxi there’s a bit of penguin walk required oto maneovre – not ideal for dog walks! the knot helps and I think also looks cool
the puppy is adorable! as well as those sandals
she was so sweet – made me want a puppy again…
