Staples

STAPLES-1

There are some pieces which you could just wear again and again and even when you know it’s not ladylike, you pull it out of the basket, give it a passing sniff and deem it ok for just… one… more… time.

I thought it might be fun to have a look back at how I’ve worn some of my favourites.

Hello Reiss shirt dress.  Thin enough to be layered, knotted and tucked, long enough to be belted and worn bare-legged, colourfully printed in not only floral, but also pastel shades.  She has outdone herself!  If money were no object this DVF one would be next on my hit list…

Which wardrobe items could you wear over and over?

Oh you know how much I love this!! Possibly as much as you!! Maybe its the print; resembling an impressionistic painting!

there’s something about this print I love so much too – I think it’s because it’s so soft

    love the floral print :)
I usually shy away from prints but I’m slowly trying to ease into it. It looks so good on you! my staple piece is definitely a nice chambray shirt :)

I love all the different ways youve styled this! Youve certainly got your money’s worth!

I know right! I joke sometimes with my mum that I judge things on cost per wear and this comes out not bad at all – I’ve worn it as a shirt too, tucked into jeans, but that hasn’t made it on here yet…

It’s lovely when you buy something then wear it loads, you feel totally justified in buying it!!! Aaahh, the DVF dress, if money was no object eh?! x
