The question my friends is not why. The question is why not? Driving past a wheat field proved too enticing – there aren’t too many of those in town. Down in the Borders though, that’s another story. Field after field after beautiful ‘take photos in me’ field. Well, why not?
I had some trouble deciding upon a dress for this wedding likely in part due to the fact that the hat came first and so the dress had to fit with the hat. This Reiss dress though, the shade of which is aptly named Firecracker, was the winner by a clear mile (when I finally found her).

Every time I see one of those fields I have a ‘I’d love to run through that field’ moment but then reality sets in and I realise I’d probably collapse in the middle of it!

ha – it would be harder than you think to run through it actually – I was surprised it was so muddy and uneven underfoot (had to swap my nice zara sandals for flats just to navigate the field (I guess you can’t see my feet anyway!)

been wanting to wear this hat for about a year so glad I finally had the occasion!
Luuuv the outfit any chance of borrowing the hat sometime, unfortunately dress won’t fit need much time to borrow that as well. Too many meals provided by Mr.K don’t help.
not got too many plans to wear the hat in the near future so you are of course welcome to borrow it any time!x
