Once upon a time, many moons ago circa 1999, when pennies were possibly even scarcer than now and shopping purchases outwith TopShop’s good ol’ 2 vests for £6 were almost unheard of, I had a dream. Biba was re-launching and with it their campaign which featured a blouse. It had crochet lace full length balloon sleeves with tight long buttoned cuffs. I took the bus to town just to look at it. About 2 months later there was am epic mix-up and my beautiful Biba found herself in a large green bin in the village carpark waiting to be rehomed with an underprivileged African child.
And so you can probably conclude that I have a soft spot for Biba (also evidenced here). So when House of Fraser gifted this little beauty to Thankfifi I was rather pleased. Once again there is Biba in my life.
