Can’t complain about the blogger life when you’re asked to review a new app about style in your city can you?  I already knew Peroni had a serious eye for style (remember the opera and the fashion dinner?) and the suggestions on the Vivi in Stile app are no exception.  The app locates you and provides a list of venues which exude Italian style, only close to home.

We were invited to ‘embrace Glasgow’s finest cocktail list’ at Blythswood Square and we did – we embraced 2 turtle doves from the 12 days of Christmas cocktail menu and I gotta tell you… you’d mug Santa to get your mitts on these.  Christmas in a carafe right there.  Think I might twist the barman’s arm into sharing the recipe with us…  We took advice on dinner too and tried out Two Fat Ladies for ‘some of the best fish in town’ – another winner.

You can also browse tips on entertaining and fashion and, whilst most of them are spot on stylish, I’m not convinced I’ll be adding knee high leopard boots to my closet any time soon!  I will be trying one of those recipes though.  Really though, what’s great about this app is that you discover the best places to go in a city you think you already know.  And if you visit a new city it’ll be a lifesaver.

Download Vivi in Stile free – here for Apple and here for Android.

So funny how you can live somewhere for so many years but after a while you forget to try new places!

Me too! Funny how you forget to have them sometimes when you’re in the city you call home.

The photographs really compliment each other with that color palette, love it! And I guess I’ll have to check out that app.
