Monday cornflower blues

Happy Monday!  I got the blues… but the good kind – my colour of the moment is definitely cornflower blue.  It all started at the day job when we painted a door in this gorgeous shade 2 weeks ago and since then I’m just so drawn to it.  So it’s fair to say this blazer spoke to me…

I have been a bit of a fan of Bastyan for quite some time – first discovering them when I inherited a leather blazer from a friend over 10 years ago and since then adding a couple more pieces to my collection like this red blazer which I’ve worn over and over.  These guys are all about the details, the cut, the buttons, the fabrics, and that’s also why I love their pieces so much.  Aside from blazers they have a gorgeous selection of embellished tops with pretty hand sewn details and designer occasion dresses which are just a little bit different (hello to this maxi gown).  So it makes perfect sense to me that they are currently running a campaign, Bastyan Little Things, which focuses on all these beautiful little details.  Check out how you can get involved here and earn some treats too.

Saturday was a summer’s day in Glasgow and I spent it in this little playsuit which I’ve had forever – in flats for day and then switching up for the heels of the moment and the blazer for night.  An easy chic look which was perfectly tailored to hide my BBQ food baby!
