In the doors of old Melaka

Thankfifi- Next broderie anglaise top, H&M fedora-5

I was thoroughly enchanted by the doorways of old Melaka – first the traditional town (or mock traditional, I’m not quite sure!) with it’s terracotta walls and then the rainbow of colour as we got lost in the local neighbourhoods of Jonker Walk.  It wasn’t a surprise that Melaka was just as hot and humid as the rest of Malaysia (even the locals were groaning about the relentless heatwave) so the through breeze provided by this broderie anglaise top was more than welcome.  Rainbow ice lollies that melted faster than you could eat them helped too!
