Travel style tricks

Three cheers for Fri-yay!  Seems I have been on a lot of planes recently (not that I’m complaining – I love flights mostly for editing mountains of photos, drinking Canada Dry and watching silly movies) and I have my travel look down.  This is kinda like the short haul version of this look which was heavy on the comfort factor.

So a couple of things…

– If you’re bringing a hat, wear it.  It’s the only way to keep it in perfect shape and, don’t worry, even this one fits under the seat in front.  Plus it’s an easy add on to take a simple look up a notch.
– Layer up with stripes (always chic, thank you Boden) and a biiiiig scarf.
– Pick your comfiest jeans and definitely don’t wear them fresh out the wash (you don’t want those suckers to be tight…  Agree?  I know you do).
– Wear all your jewellery.  Maybe this is controversial, because obviously you have to take it all off for security, but mine always gets in a fankle in my case and I can never seem to find the one I need when I unpack (current fav, the evil eye).  On my wrist, I know exactly where it is.

But this weekend I’m staying home, chilling out, wrapping myself in a big cloudy dressing gown and watching some movies with the husband (my travel plus his travel means we have catching up to do!).  But MrK has other plans – there have been murmurs of the beach…
