The Royal Beach Seminyak

In Bali we only had 4 days and I was determined to see both sides of this beautiful place – the rainforest as well as the beach (the husband wasn’t so sure about the travelling around but us ladies can be convincing… and in the end he promised he wouldn’t have changed a thing, honest!).  We opted for 1 night in the rainforest and 3 at The Royal Beach, Seminyak.

For me this was the just the right balance because from the moment we arrived at the beach, we felt we had stepped into bliss…  From the beautiful reception to our parquet floor and shuttered bedroom (we went for the deluxe room and it was pretty near perfect), to the beach front infinity pool, garden lagoon, ah-mazing breakfasts enjoyed with a side of live piano and cocktails in coconuts (I mean really, do you need anything else on your holiday Instagram?) – every single detail was just as we wished it might be.

It probably goes without saying that it was sublime (really? I know, but it was) to step right from the pool onto the sand and straight to the ocean every single day for a sunset stroll…
