Because I shopped summer dresses in the Zara sale this month and have a serious aversion to tights… so I layer. In fact almost everything here is on sale and whilst the dress was a tenner the boots, by Isabel Marant, were more of a splurge in the Matches sale but they’re just the most perfect caramel shade with an easy heel height and not too tight at the ankle, which I find more flattering, and they were half off – you can see how I justify these things to myself.
