New kicks

Seems I spend half my life on the run these day.  Other half I am asleep.  If I am lucky.  And please don’t get me wrong – I have been blessed with a baby that loves to sleep but life is pretty* busy (*slight understatement) and my days are literally full from the moment I wake up to the moment I fall asleep.  Mostly the day truly feels like it has disappeared in a flash…

So perhaps it will not come as a huge shock to you that, with my life shifting, my stiletto collection has become a little less frequented whilst mid heels and no heels at all are firmly on my radar.  And if I can do shoes that require no buckling or lacing, heck not even socks, then I am there.  Jumping in with both feet.

So I suppose you could say that these new Fitflop uberknit sneakers are my perfect match.  You might already know that I have an old pair of uberknits and that I wear them just about every day for workouts and dog walks too now the weather is improving (slightly improving).  But show me this blush colour, yep anything in this perfect hue – coats, bags, sunnies and now sneakers, and I am one hundred percent on board.  As you can see…  I just find it such an easy colour to wear.  It pairs with anything and equally well with itself.  I mean at first I thought a trench with sneakers wasn’t going to work but then I tried it and it did and so I just went all in and added the bag too.  Why not?   I wore this for a day in town, a meeting, a lunch, high speed shopping and home to walk my boys, and I think I really felt like the best version of myself.  That might sound dramatic but these sneakers are supreme in the comfort department, light as air I promise and so flexible, and they just seem to work so well with this look which combines a lot of my favourite things…

With thanks to Fitflop for supporting this post.

They do look like such comfortable shoes! And with the blush trench it’s just such a great combination! πŸ™‚ I’d love to have more colourful shoes like this, I only have my black and white Converse, not very adventurous! πŸ™‚

Hope you are having a great start to your week so far πŸ™‚ We have got some autumn weather here at last so I’m excited to get all my winter knits out!

Im seriously considering getting these. The no socks is a winner for me, the amount of times I come downstairs without them and it’s so much if a faff going back up now I have the little man to carry around lol
