The best £8 ever spent

Do I have a penchant for the dramatic?  I would say not.  But yes right now, in this moment, this hairband truly does feel like the best £8 I ever did spend.  I mean, I have not donned a hairband since circa 1995 when the black, velvet, padded variety was the look du jour.  And yet, here I am, dealing with the ever so slight headache just behind the ears that goes hand in hand with excessive hairband wear.  I feel it is worth it.  I may or may not grow out my fringe, in fact the hairband looks good with the bangs and without, with hair up in a bun and down, such is her versatility.

Add in the perfect mustard yellow, lace sundress and a wall of flowering jasmine and you know when you see a photo and just think – this, this is my new profile pic?  Yeah, that.

So, until further notice you can find me scouring Asos and Anthropologie in a bid to rapidly extend my new headwear collection and packing for my imminent move to the South of France where all photo backdrops could be so beautiful*…

*Only one of those is true.

That is a beautiful headband, and I like the bargain price! I need to try be more adventurous with my hair, I really don’t change it up often enough and this seems like a nice idea.

Hope that you are having a lovely week so far 🙂
