My laser hair removal journey – the results

My laser hair removal journey turned into a somewhat more lengthy process than I originally anticipated – not because of anything to do with the treatment but everything to do with the baby thing.  Right after my very first session I discovered I was pregnant which promptly put a pause to my visits for around a year.  Fast forward to present day though and underarm hair is a like a fuzzy memory and for a few weeks now I have been trying to visualise just exactly how I was going to shoot my armpits and share the results with you.  Then we landed in our adorable French Airbnb courtyard and it all came together…  so here we are.

If you are keen to learn more about the details of the treatments themselves then please refer back to this post in which I documented the first Thérapie Clinic visit but suffice to say they were extremely quick (and when I say quick, I mean in and out the door superman style with the actual laser taking under a minute) and, most surprisingly, almost entirely painless (perhaps akin to plucking your eyebrows but certainly not as severe as a wax).  Six treatments at six week intervals and I barely remember the last day I shaved up there.

My legs have never been a problem area as far as hair goes with only a relatively fine and sparse covering but my underarms were another story with thick, dark hair.  I could shave in the morning and have a shadow of stubble appearing the same evening.  It was the pits.  The results following Thérapie’s ice laser though are incredible, probably even better than I could have hoped for, and I have zero regrowth.  I hesitated to type ‘zero’ because usually the pros say there might be one or two wayward little rascals but I had a quick check and that skin is so smooth and has not seen a razor for weeks.

Twelve glorious days in the sun of the French Riviera and my armpits truly did not cross my mind once.  I worked with Thérapie Clinic to create this post but, having completed the treatments, can honestly say this is something I would be happy to spend my own money on.  In fact I am considering the bikini line next but promise to spare you any blog posts about that…

With thanks to Thérapie Clinic for sponsoring this post.
