Friday night the husband and I finally found the time to go celebrate last week’s exciting news (NOT that I am having a baby as my nephew supposed upon hearing his mum on the phone to me – ‘Congratulations!  Oh, that’s so exciting!  When did you find out?!  You must be so pleased…’  You can see why he might have gotten a little confused.  Anyway, this blog is my baby!  And Mr.K.)

Dresses this patterned are so easy as they really can’t take much accessorising so I just pulled up my ‘coulda really used a wash’ hair and slung my Marc Jacobs necklace on backwards to accentuate the detail in the dress and I was ready to go.  Easy.

It’s a little tricky shooting looks when it gets dark at 4pm so we headed up to one of Glasgow’s beautifully lit buildings for these pics but the results were very tungsten.  A bit of tweaking and I think they’re kinda cool, if a little infrared-esque.  I hope you like the look!

P.S.  In case you’ll lie awake wondering at night, we went to our favourite restaurant for some yummy curry and drinks before coming home with a tub of Ben and Jerrys.
