Cameron Robbins – Print

Tuesday night after work I took a jaunt along to The Glasgow School of Art Fashion Show with the girls from work.  I must say I was very pleasantly surprised by all the fine prints and textures on show but what really, really stole the show for me was the work by Cameron Robbins (shown above and also at the end of the post).  At the risk of sounding like one of those naff fashion speak people – it was so refreshing.  Just look at that maxi skirt and tell me it doesn’t rock!

Speaking of things that rock – Fi’s Antik Batik gilet (below).  I can feel my sticky fingers getting restless just looking at it and then a slight breeze ruffles the fur in a small wave and I want to rub my face on her shoulder but that would be completely inappropriate right?

Apologies for not crediting each designer featured.  If this is your work and you want the credit, and let’s face it, why wouldn’t you, leave me a comment and I will give credit where credit is due!

grey tone twist dress (top centre tile detail) – James McGarvey
cross knit (top right tile) – Leah Merrick
triangle print jacket (below tile) – Natalie Wardrope

On a side note, today is my Mum’s birthday; the best friend I could ever have hoped for and she’s my Mum.  Happy birthday Mum – Mr K has wrapped a tennis ball up for you.x
