There’s something so undeniably versatile about jersey; it’s so pliable you can knot it any which way and after a wash it snaps back into shape quicker than a post pregnancy supermodel.  I’ve already played around with knotting my jersey pieces on ThankFifi – cropping a tee here and making maxi into midi here.  This week I knotted this maxi up to the side, hopping on the asymmetrical trend (if you don’t have enough material, or indeed too much material, to make a neat knot then just use a like coloured hair tie to keep it all together).  The easiest DIY ever.

A quick hunt revealed that New Look don’t have this exact dress online, well it is from last year, but I did discover this one which I imagine will be working it’s way into my closet soon (read, overspill on the floor as if my closet ate too much and spewed all over the carpet…).

I don’t imagine this unseasonably warm weather lasting much longer but until it’s over I intend to fully enjoy it, starting with a Friday alfresco lunch!  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.x
