Paws in Places – Part One

music by Nellie McKay

When Cesar reached out to me about becoming their Paws in Places Glasgow ambassador I wondered what’s in it for me?  Biscuits (my favourite thing).  SOLD.  Cesar’s survey found Glasgow is not dog friendly…  I investigated.

I get dragged all over town for this doGdarn blog but this time it’s all about me.  Most restaurants said no (I don’t do curry anyway), the cinema said no (they weren’t even showing Lassie – she’s my favourite bitch thing) and most of the bars said no (I don’t like cockertails anyhow).

But then… back to my favourite places near my park.  First The Big Slope for fries (my favourite thing), then on to the main event – dinner at The Finnieston – thank doG for that.  I ordered gilled sole (my favourite thing).  I might have downed a double water too.  It got messy.

Glasgow’s people love me but places sometimes don’t so I find it’s all about knowing where to go – let’s not forget the time I stayed in the lap of luxury at Malmaison; those guys know what it’s all about!  Check out Paws in Places on Facebook to share your dog friendly finds or search for somewhere near you.

Part Two coming soon…

P.S.  That’s my sole on the receipt there.

P.P.S.  The menu at home kinda blows now I’ve had a taste of the good life…

Love it! I have a good list of places in Fife that let Kuma in. Also, the cinema in Leven probably would too!

Do you think it’s just because our dogs are so darn cute though?! You should add all your places on the facebook page – I know they are looking for a great list and want to add more and more.x

Great read! Reminds me of my sister in law’s dog, Camilla II back in Rome.. well behaved, no fuss, loyal and if she’s a person, must be an elegant one 🙂 Ciao, Camilla!! Ciao, Mr K!!

How did I miss this? Unbelievably cool strollers!! I don’t care if most restaurants are not paw friendly, Mr K has always a place in my home and my heart!

    Lots of hugs! 🙂

I think he might think Greece was a little hot for comfort but I’m sure he’d give it a shot! He does enjoy an ice cube on a hot day 😉

If you don’t mind my asking, what breed is Mr K? He is THE absolute cutest 🙂
