Just some of my Valentine’s favourites which I’ll be enjoying on Thursday (for our night of romance on the sleeper train to London)…
Fingernails painted with Burgundy #2 nail polish by Nail Girls and toes in this bright red by OPI for Guess.
Lips in my current obsession Vintage Wine longlast lipstick by Clinique (the packaging has had an update since I got mine but it’s the densest non-drying pigment lipstick I’ve come across and a really great colour).
I’ll be spritzing the beautiful Lola by Marc Jacobs; a wedding gift from the husband which always takes me back.
Unsure about the safety of naked flames on trains, I’ll be saving my Bohemian Rose candle from the Skye Candle Company for the hotel.
And the husband will be receiving this cute Scottish ‘I wisnae pushed’ card from Shortbread and Champagne. Not much of a surprise anymore is it?
oh well, you’ll be in London this week and I fly out of the country tomorrow until Sunday. Hope you enjoy Fashion Week though!

well the train departs at midnight so technically V day will be finished although at the rate I’m going I’ll be spending the evening packing!

must confess I treated myself – the husband and I have a running joke that when I come home with flowers he says ‘did I buy you flowers again?’ and I say ‘yes thank you very much, you did!’

not sure not sure – my mum has suggested that we take a boozy picnic for the journey though so who knows, maybe after a G&T it won’t seem like such a bad idea 😉
I have that candle in my bedroom and it is divine!
love all their candles but I am a sucker for anything rose scented or flavoured (but the sleep candle still has my true heart because of it’s miraculous sleep powers!)
