Hello from London! After an incredible Friday night at the the Clements Ribeiro show (more on that soon of course), I flew down yesterday morning for some Regent Street fun and, as almost always, it’s a fleeting visit with the flight home tonight – short and sweet. And hot.
Veering into unchartered waters I packed light; simply a handbag and the clothes on my body. I speak from experience when I say you don’t want to be dragging a case round London for 2 days solid (after one hour you have arm ache, after a day that case feels like a body). With this heatwave there’s been zero need for layers really but the lace blazer is the easiest way to smarten up for meetings without overheating so she made the cut along with comfy wedges and some light, non-crushable, options. Actually packing so light has been refreshing. Don’t think I’ll be repeating my handbag luggage tactic come fashion week though…
For now, keeping fingers crossed I don’t drop my dinner down my only top.

I’m amazed you’ve mastered the art of packing light! I always have the best intentions of packing lightly for things, then keep thinking “what if…” and end up with so much more than I expected! :p
