It can be tough enough working out in the summer let alone when you can see every breath in a tiny cloud as you run. The best advice I ever heard was to ask yourself this – have you ever regretted a workout? And if you’re not buying that then get a hairy dog – Mr K actually prefers to exercise in winter. When there’s frost on the ground he literally runs round the park doing zoomies and rolls – cold is his happy place.
I was in my happy place when I discovered the activewear in Forever 21. It spans half a floor in the Glasgow store and it’s cheap and I may have almost entirely restocked my workout drawer. Naturally I wanted to test it out before I raved about it but I’m happy to report that the technicals are spot on too – I break a sweat when I work out (frankly if you don’t, why bother?) and I was warm and dry.
So tell me what are your tips and tricks for motivating yourself to exercise in the cold?
