There’s no denying it any longer – wedding season is upon us. Find yourself a field and a frock and just fill right on up full of romance… Weddings really do have that effect on me.
This Next dress is a beauty – the lace overlay reminds me a little of my own wedding dress and not even a field full of spiders could dampen my spirit. As our first wedding of the season is still a couple of weeks off we wanted to find a really special setting to shoot this gown (for it is a gown is it not?); a hike over part of The West Highland Way finally revealed a field with grasses just the colour we were searching for. I slipped into the dress and am not ashamed to admit that it was delightful twirling and fluttering through the grasses. In fact when the husband called it a wrap and I saw my tee crawling in 8 legged beasties I was more than a little tempted to hike all the way home in floor length lace…
