Peninsula Hot Springs

A hot day for the Peninsula Hot Springs…  The most relaxing and beautiful morning in the springs with views over the peninsula but boy was it hot!  The hot pools vary from around 34-40 degrees and it was already a very nice day – let’s just say there were a lot of dunks in the cold plunge pool.  I actually came here 7 years ago for Laura’s hen day but back then there were only around 3 pools… now there are more than 20 with jacuzzi baths and waterfalls.  Highlights included hearing the banjo frogs in the lake (still picturing those little guys hiding in the reeds strumming tiny banjos) and seeing a cheerful Japanese man stuff his entire body into a foot bath like an enormous baby… dude there are 20 full size pools!
