Fillipa & Polly

Fillipa and Polly are friends.  Fillipa and Polly are both attention grabbing girls; Fillipa with her chevron stripes and Polly with her ‘look at me’ blues.

Perhaps it’s not a huge surprise, that even when presented with a whole new season, I will still be drawn to the striped culottes – hi Fillipa – welcome to the family – meet (all) my other stripes…  but culottes are a winner aren’t they?  They usually, and in this case certainly do, have pockets, they are cut wide to be flattering on the thigh unlike, urgh, unfriendly shorts and yet they avoid any potential problems that come with a skirt.  And they have pockets, I said that right?  Cause that’s important.

And let’s just give a little nod to Polly too… she’s been patiently waiting months (since back then) for the sun to come out and for suede slingbacks to make sense.  Well this week, for at least one day, Polly made complete sense.

Love a blossoming friendship and it seems Filippa and Polly are going to get along very well this season.  Fingers crossed my little monster bears can do the same!  How cute are they together?
