Those funny jeans again…

Yep, it’s those jeans again… and it almost certainly won’t be the last time.  Not gonna lie.  And now they have them in white too?  Probably the most awkwardly proportioned jean in the world to wear – cutting your legs off at a most unflattering point, running about 5 sizes too small resulting in squashing yourself into what is almost certainly a pair too small and an ensuing game of ‘hungry bum’ for the day… But I love them.  And I want the white (in a size up).

So today with crochet lace because, ya know, summer and beachy hair because it’s become so long and unruly that styling it is akin to trying to tidy a hay barn.

Last night I had the house to myself.  The husband had been in the US all week with work and today I’m travelling to London for a fun event (stay tuned on Instagram!) so one by one the furries were collected by their respective grandparents for their overnight stays and… then it was just me.  Alone.  Like really properly alone you guys.  I hadn’t turned the tv on all week since the husband left because: a) I’m way to busy to watch tv and b) …see ‘a’… Turns out the tv didn’t work.  I wasted about 3 minutes trying to fix it.  I wandered from room to room aimlessly like an old lady who’d lost her marbles…  I missed my boys.  It’s not like I didn’t have a bazillion things to do like this post and, erm, packing (11.30pm and I still hadn’t started) and then there was the hay barn hair to think about.  But it’s funny being alone.  I guess what I learnt is this – I love my chaos.

So roll on Friday – a 7am flight and a day full of meetings followed by a party, a sleep and a day shooting with my fav Nancy… and then home – to my boys and the crazy!  Normal life resumes.  Happy weekend.x
