Flashback to that day when the sun shone on my little seedling puppy and his legs seemed to sprout 8 inches overnight… so I got my legs out in solidarity.
The more birthdays that pass, the trickier it seems to be to dress for said birthdays don’t you think? Not my birthday this time, a good friend’s, but a night out all the same. All of a sudden what could have been deemed quite demure 10 years ago becomes wholly inappropriate. Tricksy. (You remember crop tops the first time round right? Paired with combat pants. Thank you All Saints for that gem. Never ever…). Sticking steadfast to my rule of ‘one or t’other’, this time it was the legs. Oh hello down there.
I won’t lie to you though, this week’s been buuusy and tonight the rule is going out the window in favour of baggy jeans and sweatshirts and fluffy Birks for after work drinks. Because that’s totally acceptable in your 30’s too. Isn’t it?

And I had a giggle at the All Saints comment. I used to love crop tops and combat pants..I loved those pants I wore them to the ground. I’m so glad I didn’t have a blog back then, so many embarrassing outfits…haha!
