Wedding season with Zalando

It’s that time of year again…  wedding season has arrived.  We kicked things off on the most beautiful day with family at Glasgow University (congrats Mike & Gina!)…

Don’t you often find weddings and fashion can be a little disjointed?  It’s almost like you know what you should be wearing but you need to marry that (excuse the pun) with something that doesn’t seem so far off the mark from your usual style.  Know what I mean?

I’m so happy to partner with Zalando for May to share my wedding season picks because their range is simply so huge.  I’m very much an online shopper, crazy when I live in the centre of town maybe but it suits my midnight shopper timetable, so I know if I spend a little time searching and scrolling I’m going to find ‘the one’.  There’s an occasionwear section to start you off on the right track too and that’s where I found this For Love & Lemons beauty.  She’s slim fitting but not skin tight, has that gorgeous corded lace detailing (such a sucker for lace) and when the sun shines through the hem she’s sooo pretty.  Basically the perfect match for me…  even though I had to assign the sister in law to ‘butt watch’ for the fear of that under-layer riding up.  In case you were wondering, it did not, even during the ceilidh.  Or, if it did, she didn’t tell me…

The Reiss bag came along for the day, further proof that nude bags are total winner because they just go with eeeverything.  And can we talk about these heels for just a moment?  I’m a huge Chelsea Paris fan and I think these guys might just have me sorted for the entire wedding season…
