Utopia – new hair by Sassoon

Somehow being home, all of a sudden the leaves have changed, the air is cooler and it seems we are in the midst of autumn.  I love that we have seasons and those trees are making big ochre hearts in my eyes every time I look out the window or see the dogs roll in them…

Time for a change.  I have to be honest, I went in to Sassoon with not much of a plan.  I know Sharz so well now we have this trust (a trust that it truly takes me years to build – generally I’m quite a trusting person but when it comes to hair, not so much) and I knew the new collection, ‘Utopia‘, just launched.  So we went for these mussed up layers and almost a fringe, just the ends ironed straight, HD hair with lots of texture and shine courtesy of the Illuminating Oil that rocks my world.

It feels kinda sexy and a little bit disheveled and I like it.  It feels right for the season and seems to pair with this Monsoon blouse so well which, by the way, I also have a lotta love for.  Incidentally the shoes I picked up half price in River Island (and they’re just about the closest thing to Chanel on the high street) mid sprint back to the car, post haircut, through the drizzle with my trench over my head – that explains these indoor shots then…
