Pregnant trapeze artist

Whether you have a real baby or a food baby to conceal, it is always worth abusing the search box for anything ‘trapeze’…  or ‘swing’ for that matter.  Making regular clothes go the extra mile…

With just 11 weeks to go it honestly feels like a false economy to invest in too many maternity clothes but this stripe number from Asos, although I’m not sure it would ever be suitable as a dress, is a winner for now and after.  And now, having fallen foul to my own trapeze searching suggestion, I’m lusting after this red beauty too

leather jacket – Zara   |   stripe dress – Asos (ON SALE)
leather legging – Hallhuber   |   boot – Reiss
emerson place lenia bag – Kate Spade

Hi Wendy! Nice outfit! love the doggy as always!

Just a question: what length did you buy for the dress; petite, reg or tall?

and how tall are you? (Just for reference…..)

    Thanks much!

Hi Susan, thanks for your lovely comment 🙂 I went for a regular and am 5ft7 – I think if I wasn’t pregnant then the regular would work as a micro mini but I’d probs opt for the ‘tall’ (and I never usually am classed as tall!) for a slightly less revealing length of dress! Hope that helps.

        Thanks!

Since I am only 5ft4.5 maybe I should order the petite; I don’t think I would ever wear it as a dress anyways, only as a tunic; and the reg and tall might be too much material for me?…..

That dress does work beautifully as a tunic on you! Being petite it would probably work perfectly as a dress for me…but I can’t buy as I’m on a shopping ban at the moment. Shame as it’s very pretty.

Jealous you are in the third trimester and wearing both heels and boots, my feet were swelling up like balloons by this point with both boys, ha!

If you run out of swing tops, stretchy fabrics and waistbands work too! 🙂

Hope you are having a great start to the week and had a nice weekend 🙂
