That time I became a podcast tart

Two in one week – does that make me a tart?

Whilst I know podcasts are not exactly a new thing, they are kinda new to me.  I recently started listening to a couple now and again, keeping me company whilst I drive, and I gotta say, I am digging them.  So when I was asked to guest on a couple of podcasts recently I took a cool 2.7 seconds to respond with a resounding yes.

The concept of each is completely different which is great and honestly recording them, one in person and one via Skype, felt like a good ol’ chinwag between friends.  I do love to talk…  my husband will attest to that.

The first, a discussion about my career journey, running a blog as a business and why Instagram is like a needy boyfriend with Lisa of Palompo PR has just gone live.  Naturally I listened to it first, simultaneously editing these images of yesterday’s outfit, just to make sure I did not say anything that made me sound like a complete wally.  I also had the fear that there would be a total cringe moment – you know like when you used to hear your own recording on an answering machine?  Well, I did cringe, but only for about ten seconds…  turns out the cringe wears off and I am happy to share it with you so should you want to listen, you can do so right here.
