Is it just me that didn’t really know what trifecta meant? Sounds good with Tribeca right?!
I tied my scarf up into a kind of turban style and after numerous assurances from the husband, stepped away from the mirror and over to downtown.
So we weren’t really in lower Manhattan but it sure didn’t feel like we were in Partick when we stopped in to Tribeca for a sun filled, street-side brunch on Saturday. It’s not too far from the hospital and while wailing sirens might agitate in another setting, here they seem right at home in this little slice of New York.
Our waitress was more than accommodating of my awkward ordering and our hefty portioned breakfasts were deliciously satisfying. I saw a pancake stack arrive at the next table and it became clear why not all Americans are Pammy proportioned. Like our plates though, it was cleared. It’s always a big bonus point for me too when a place is so dog friendly that Mr K has a drink before we’ve even ordered!
Don’t you think sunshine makes everything more romantic and everyone smile? The couple sharing the milkshake inside looked so happy they could have been in a cheesy movie and I immediately wished I had enough space in my belly for an Oreo Cookie Snow Blizzard of my own. I guess we’ll just have to go back!
