I am always drawn to this colour. It’s probably pretty much universally unflattering. I don’t care. I saw this skirt and my dad managed to put me off by regaling a tale of poor frozen baby hands… apparently on a family holiday (the one’s where you go to the great British seaside and it’s about 6.5 celcius all week) my grandma stopped to buy some gloves for him and the shop only had this colour. Well, ‘me no likey the colour’ and my fashion-conscious five year old father refused. Kids huh?!
A couple weeks later and I see the skirt again, this time reduced down from £35 to £12 – there’s only one left and it’s my size. That’s a sign friends. Sorry dad.
Happy Friday everyone!x
I love this look!! Skirts suit you too…:)

thanks so much Nina – I can wait to wear it wish a tank and sandals this summer AND a tan!x
I love that colour too!!! Don’t think I could wear it close to my face (not sure there are many who could!) but I think a skirt or bag or shoes in the shade work really well! What a bargain too!!! And it was a sign – a stylish sign, if you will 🙂
I thought so too! I have actually worn the colour on a scarf and it worked ok but I think it could go horribly wrong if it was the wrong shade.x
I love that color and whole outfit! The dog is so adorable too!
thanks aukse.x

I think the colour really compliments Mr K’s tones too!!! x
ha – well that is the main concern after all!x
I have to say that the colour is still growing on me!
I have a skater dress in this colour and although I have had a few great comments about it I am not fully into it, but I’m getting there.
The skirt looks amazing and I love the top. Your dog is SUPER cute.
I really love your blog. I hope you check mine out. 🙂 xx
I think seeing the colour in the photos makes me like it more than I though I did – I guess it just depends what you pair it with – I think white and black are always safe.x
It reminds me when I was teaching in Stirling. When I first heard my pupils say : “I denne ken”…it took me a while to understand ! Typical Scottish sentences !
This colour is not easy to wear but you combined it so well with the boots.
Nice week-end, Françoise.
Ha ha – I completely know what you mean francoise! My dad doesn’t speak like that now though, just when he was 5!x
Your skirt is wonderful!
