Camouflage: it’s set to make a come back. Think less girl group camo combats with crop tops and more refined pieces with understated basics. Happily I already had this dress and, paired with my staple summer knit (loving this one too), I really liked the result.
Matchy matchy: although she is a style queen and general hero of fashion, I have never really forgiven Olivia for telling Whits her look was ‘a little matchy matchy’ and then claiming it was her own when it made the cover. Rude Olivia, rude. Anyway, Olivia’s whiney ‘matchy, matchy’ voice was on my mind when choosing nail/lip colour for this look – I needed a little injection of colour but wanted to keep the accessories minimal so, this time, the cosmetics helped out.
How will you be styling camouflage this season?
I love this outfit and im already mentaly scanning my wardrobe to see if i can put together this look with what I have. Emma xo
p.s love the pooch! 🙂
hoping you don’t keep a pooch in your wardrobe emma?!
Hey Fifi! I to have notice camo making its comeback (although for some of my nephews it never went out of style! LOL!!!) And how lucky that you still had that dress. I have a tendency to constantly be in a state of revamp so often if I never wear something or if I feel like the fit is off I just donate.
Also I love your thin sweater and glasses. They are to die for!
I really should get rid of some of my older things but then, at times like this I’m glad I didn’t!
LOVING THE KNIT OVER IT..GREAT STYLING!
thanks sheree – glad you like it!x
I just noticed- you have the most amazing engagement ring and wedding ring EVER! They look beautiful, classic with a hint of vintage 🙂
P.S. Another great look 😀
thanks so much kristina – the engagament ring is in fact vintage (a family heirloom from the husband’s side which the mother-in-law was kind enough to give to me following me losing my original ring…). I keep meaning to do a post about them and I’m sure I will eventually 🙂
those shoes are hot!
ha thanks sarah! I love them but being suede they are reserved for dry days only!
Great look, love how you styled it with the jumper over the dress.
And that dog is so cute! Xo

You look super, super, super cute in that outfit
Jeffrey Campbell Lita Giveaway in my blog
thanks so much bruno!
love the print!
thanks monkey – it’s a lot like camouflage but just not quite 🙂
Haha, matchy matchy! No matter how annoying Olivia makes that sound, I love to do it. You look so good, love the lighting in these photos and your ever faithful bigger-than-most-humans pup!
Giveaway: Gold Ankle Cuffs
ha – I still think he’s small but I guess he is quite big! it’s a love hate thing most of us have with olivia 🙂
cool photos! really fab!!!
xoxo from rome
Now this is really STYLISH ! You should post more often! maybe you could check out my new outfit?
thanks isabella but I think 5 times a week is quite enough!
Really like it girl!
you look so beautiful and your dog is SO CUTE!
thanks so much izumi – he is a cutie!
Just found your blog and I’m addicted already. Gorgeous looks and I’m wanting to adopt your cutie pie dog!
aw mandi, he would probably go with you quite happily – he’s friends with anyone!x
oh I know exactly the episode you are talking about! That really irked me! They really portrayed Olivia to be a real, well you know, bitch. But there is no denying she has amazing style. I’m not really into the camo comeback, not sure its for me.
I suspect in the days of The City, like you say, she wasn’t portrayed in the best light but at the end of the day it IS a tv show so who knows! I know the camo won’t be for everyone 🙂
Those boots are so cute! I like this outfit and how you’ve styled it! The printed neutrals look lovely here. -xo
thanks fashion tales – don’t think I’d be going for (or have seen for the matter) any comouflage in brights – just remembering now that it used to come in pinks and blues and greys in the 90’s… bleuch!
I never really liked the camo trend but you this dress print is an amazing one! Love how you’ve paired it with the slouchy white plain knit giving a non chalant dimension to your look!! Beautiful as ever!
I think I like this dress so much because it has the elements of camouflage but not the complete print – I have been considering some faded camo skinny jeans though…
This is a great outfit. Love how you styled down the dress with a jumper. I love the pattern of the dress, black and white (and a hint of army green) paired with brown-tan colored leather accessories is a bold and confident fashion choice. Love that goofy hairball.. So cute..
Is the Mango dress new season?
Please visit and follow my blog when you get a chance..
ha at the ‘goofy hairball’ comment! sorry, unfortunately this dress is an old one from at least a year ago but I’m sure there will be similar ones all over the high street shortly!
I’m so in love with the total Fall-ready outfit….but the wedge boots are so divine!
It’s funny because I guess this is fall-ready but, just because it was warm enough to have bare legs, it felt so summery!
You look so adorable and you look like Marisa Tomei here! Your boots definitely make it all picture perfect!
people keep telling me I look like her! 🙂
