As much as I was excited by the array of textures and finishes (hello calf-hair Betty Jackson bag, leather trimmed parka and casual sequins – we can be winter friends) and my makeover by the lovely Andrew from Benefit, it was my awkward introduction to Mark Heyes that I really treasure from the recent Debenhams evening.
Mark: I went to Glasgow School of Art… Thankfifi: (rudely interrupting) Me tooooo! … You know when you have to stop yourself from chiming in every 2 seconds like a loon because you’re pretty darn sure you were meant to be BFFs? It was like that (for me). I mean, come on, he’s the fashion hero of GMTV. Thanks Mark, you were a true gent.
Not to be outdone, the husband suggested he should have a photo with Louise Redknapp who was launching a new makeup line, Wild About Beauty (which did actually look quite fabulous). Like a pushy Disney Land mother I went forth… ‘Could the husband possibly have a photo with you?’. I tell you, I just could not get enough awkward that night.

P.S. Check out Henry Holland’s kicks!
P.P.S. As you can probably tell, if not my conversation, my facial expressions alone are quite captivating.
LOL…well, that made me chuckle a bit.
Also, can I just say…love those shoes.
Oh, and thanks for returning a visit to my blog. Much appreciated.
thanks kiki – I aim to please 🙂
LOVE IT! i AM SURE YOU WERE HYSTERICAL AND SO MUCH FUN!

I hope so too… Mark? You reading this??? BFF’s?
Of all the big store write ups that are all over blogs atm, that has to be THE funniest! Your face in the photos with Mark H is just brilliant – he’s TOTALLY digging you! And Mrs Rednapp looks a bit TOO pleased with your hubby..watch out Jamie! Great post Wendy…as they say in Belfast, you’re a geg xx
Just had to google ‘geg’ and now I can say – thanks! I guess it wouldn’t be my style to do some kind of drawn out review of all the season trends…
p.s. looking back at that photo now I have to wonder what the heck I was talking about… !
What a great night you have:)
I did – awkwardness and fun both at once 🙂
I love Debenhams! Those Henry Holland brogues are fantastic! haha, yes, I know about those chiming in moments! How funny! xo /Madison

Indeed! At least my makeup was good 😉
