Double denim and a leather peplum – it’s not rocket science but a shirt under a peplum (esp. leather) is a seasonal solution. Wonder if I can squish a jumper under there too…
So Thursdays I teach my art class. I’m not gonna sugar coat it – it’s a b*tch of a day. I check emails before work, head to my pr/marketing job for a couple of hours before driving at a completely sensible speed to my class where I teach for 3 hours. Then I head home to blog the rest of the night away. But yesterday was special. My class made me so proud of them, they took the demonstration on board and implemented the techniques to produce some of the best work I’ve seen them do. I think they were happy with it too and I know I sound like a total sap but it really made me feel all warm and fuzzy. And the cherry on top was that one of the ladies gave me a box of homemade wheat-free shortbread for my wheat-free dad – just to be kind.
What a good day. You know the kind of day where there are good people and the world seems sunny. Just all round GOOD. Love those days.
Hope you all have a ‘good’ weekend.x

First things first, your pup is freakin’ adorable. Look at that face! My heart melts. 🙂
AND look at you rockin’ that peplum and denim shirt combo. I would never have thought to pair these two together, but it works so well. I’m an obsessor of all things peplum, and yeah, I even make them myself, so now, I’ll have to definitely give this look a try. I can’t wait!
Hope you’re having a wonderful day, hun!
