Don’t be fooled by the pastel jeans which somehow make this scene appear warm. It is not warm. It is in fact mighty cold. Don’t be alarmed, there was of course a coat. But you’ve seen her before and, while I love her, sometimes less is more – for the purpose of photos anyway.
So how to style pastel for winter I pondered? I shall introduce mint to the on trend colour of the season (by way of accessories) and that should bring mint down from her sun-filled, unicorn laden, candyfloss cloud. The proof is before our eyes though and it seems, even in the face of (ox)blood, mint is chipper.

I think I want to do a look now that’s purely mint and burgundy – see if that tames the pastel!
