So that’s the longest catwalk in the world and that’s the frozen courage for getting down it.
All of July Regent Street was closed to road traffic on the weekends which I can say, having experienced the street on a busy Saturday, was a treat. I was lucky enough to be invited down to take part in Summer Streets last weekend so I called upon my newest blogger chum Nancy of Bank to Boutique and convinced her to strut the 100m catwalk with me. They even put a hill in the middle of that thing, thanks guys. Lucky I have a dog so I’m pretty experienced at walking.
We indulged in a delightful afternoon tea at Cafe Royal which fuelled us through a session of outfit shots – one of the great things about spending time with another blogger has to be a mutual appreciation of ‘getting the shot’. There might have been a farewell cocktail too…
So it turns out Regent Street has more to offer than just shopping, although seriously the shopping is great (finally made it into Anthropologie to see that living wall) – keep an eye on Regent Street online to check out events. Thanks Regent Street for another amazing weekend.x
