Not only has there been daylight savings to contend with recently (FYI it saves no daylight – if anything it seems darker…), temperatures have not been in the double figures for some time, but this weekend was the turning point for me. There was frost on the ground and that means winter. I love winter. Good, proper winter. Enter cosy, slouchy knits and stew and hot chocolate (goodbye beach body, nobody needs to see you for months).
I took a trip into town on the hunt for cosiness and Forever 21 came up trumps – let’s just say 90 minutes later I emerged with bags of winter hugs. So this pastel and grey number is the first one out and it has those kind of sleeves you can pull right over your hands if you want to – essential. New jeans too? Don’t mind if I do.
So I am winter ready, result. Mr K on the other hand has just begun shedding his undercoat in preparation for summer… hmmm.

I am definitely the opposite, I do not care for winter and cold and snow… short days stink!
I suppose as long as you’ve got a large supply of cozy sweaters to get you through it isn’t all bad.
well, it’s coming not matter what so I figure I might as well embrace it!
I am desperately seeking winter now. I don’t we’ll see any of it here, but I pulled out all my cozy knits and drink a mug of hot mint tea every night in preparation. 🙂 Love the outfit you have here, the sweater is so adorable and it’ll go with loads of outfits. x
