Hems are dropping

Thankfifi- Hems are dropping-12

‘Are hems dropping?’, asks Auntie Pat.  Well yes, I do believe they are.

Whilst she informs me that a young lady’s hem should end at her fingertips, I am inclined to disagree.  A shift is coming, or perhaps it’s just me, but my pencil skirt purchasing currently knows no bounds (aided by the sales, thank you).  A loose, chunky knit gives ample opportunity to practice my tuck of choice and leaves me at least one half a lady.

So tell me, what do you make of longer lengths?

knit – Forever 21 :: top – H&M :: skirt – Zara (similar or here)
ruby heel – Reiss (ON SALE!) :: clutch – Becksondergaard

coat – Infindigo

    Love the chunky knit with the pencil skirt! πŸ™‚

    I think above the knee or at the knee lengths are more flattering for my tiny height, but I do find midi-length skirts great for work! πŸ™‚

      heels essential that’s for sure – the knee lengths are a bit easier to work with I will admit

    Great minds think alike! I got the same skirt on Saturday and worn it with a huge knit jumper I got from H&M!
    The only difference is that I wore it with black ballerinas as I couldnt find my heels!

    Wow, I love the dress for itΒ΄s cloth and design but I would probably prefer it a little shorter for myself πŸ™‚ DonΒ΄t you think it would make a good dress as well? Maybe with short sleeves or so πŸ™‚

    I like this longer midi length, especially for work. I’m thinking that men might have the opposite opinion, though.

      Well I suppose if it’s quite fitted around the derriere then it’s not so offputting for the men πŸ˜‰

    I’ve had this skirt in my Zara cart for FOREVER! I love the longer length on you, I’m just not sure my short self could rock it as hard as you do!
